The last time I was in this shop! Schnitzel with chips with about 10 chips! Wine from Tetrapack! At thick prices! That to a Kirchweih !!! The service was absolutely bad and there is nothing nice to talk about !!! I've been there several times, but every time the same disappointment! Our excursions will definitely not end up in the black anvil !!! 1 star is still too much!

Very nice restaurant with newly renovated rooms in a reasonable size at a very reasonable price for the region. Mostly Bavarian food is served. The food is fresh and definitely worth a visit. The internet is running fast enough. Definitely recommended for business trips, gladly again ...

A real insider tip for people who really want to eat well! We both ate cordon bleu and could even hear from the kitchen how they beat the meat fresh and when they brought the food, we immediately realized that the meat was from the top dish (which is good for those who do not know that) and It was one of the best tastes for me so far. The staff and the service as well as the boss were very friendly and in a good mood, they also asked us if everything fits, if we need anything and were always there for us. We had a nice conversation with the owner and she explained why the black anvil is so called (go and ask her if you want to know it;)). And right on our first visit we realized that the owner is a woman with a lot of heart. Thank you and see you soon :)

Enter the restaurant on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 12.30 pm. Before that, I checked how long it was open for lunch (until 2.30 p.m.). Seated at a free table. First impression: a bit musty smell and an unpleasant, slightly shabby ambience (cables from the ceiling, holes in the ceiling, broken, not plastered passage to the kitchen) Besides me there were five people at a total of two tables and five or six people at another table. Although there was so little going on, the waitress didn't register me, even though she was serving at the next table. After about 20 minutes another five guests arrived. The question from the waitress: have you made a reservation? After that was denied she disappeared into the kitchen to ask if there was still space. The guests were allowed to sit down and immediately received the menu with the comment: Kitchen is only open until 1 p.m. (nothing was written on the outside). If you just choose something similar, then we will see if it is still possible. Since I was still not noticed, I left the restaurant. Of course I can't say anything about the food, but both the service and the ambience were poor. I will not come back.

Great location, nice service, the food is simply great, and after the renovation at the latest, the restaurant also looks much more cozy. The adjoining hall with the dance floor which can be rented for private events with its charm from the seventies is simply a highlight. Highly recommended!

Very cozy and traditionally run guest house / guest house Inexpensive, clean and very friendly house, were there with our little dog for 3 days and will definitely be back despite renovations!
